Privacy Policy

This website, oldhousenewtricksconstruction.com, belongs to Old House New Tricks Construction, a remodeling and home repair contractor based in Irving, Texas (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information we collect through the site, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

• What you send in the estimate form: your name, your phone number and/or email address, the kind of work you need, and what you write about the job.
• What you send us directly: if you call, text, message us on WhatsApp or email us, we receive your number or address and what you write. Those conversations run on the phone, WhatsApp or email service you choose, under that service’s own privacy policy.
• Technical data: like any website, our hosting provider processes your IP address, browser type and the pages you request in order to deliver the site, protect it from abuse and find errors. These request logs are deleted automatically after a few days. The estimate form also uses your IP address, held briefly in memory, to stop the same sender from submitting it over and over.

We do not run analytics or advertising trackers, we do not use social media pixels, and we never ask for payment or bank details on this site.

• To reply to your request, arrange a walkthrough and prepare your estimate.
• To keep a record of the job if you hire us.
• To keep the website secure and working.

We contact you by phone, text or email only about the request you sent. We do not add you to a mailing list or send marketing messages.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. A few service providers process it on our behalf, only to run the site:

• Cloudflare hosts and delivers the website.
• Supabase stores estimate requests in our database.
• Cloudinary stores and delivers the photographs on the site. It never receives what you type in the form.
• Email and browser notification services alert our team when a new request comes in.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or when it is needed to protect our rights or someone’s safety.

The public pages of this site do not set any cookies, and we do not use tracking or advertising cookies of any kind, so there is nothing to accept or decline.

The only cookies we use are the sign-in cookies of our staff area, which only our own team uses. If that ever changes (for example, if we add website analytics) we will update this page first.

We keep estimate requests for as long as we need them to follow up with you and, if you hire us, for our job, warranty and tax records. You can ask us to delete your request at any time.

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Email oldhousentconstruction@gmail.com or call (469) 493-1979. We may need to confirm it is really you before we act, and we will reply as soon as we can, and within 45 days at the latest.

The site is served only over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, estimate requests are stored in a database only our team can reach, and our staff area requires signing in with an approved account. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive information such as Social Security or bank account numbers through the form.

This site is meant for adults hiring a contractor. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to WhatsApp, Google and other services take you to sites we do not control. Their own privacy policies apply there.

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
